I have a passion for home decor, specifically cultural or historical. I spend a lot of time online scrolling through inspiration pictures. Although I don't have a house to decorate, that's a goal of mine! I also enjoy traveling often and tasting different food. I enjoy most food, but I have yet to develop a taste for tartar. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to try it!

About Me

I am an analyst for an investment firm. I now have a floral business in which I service the entire Dallas area. I started this business because it has always been a dream to be my own boss. I graduated with a business degree in 2013, and I travelled abroad to study business in France for a month.

Experience

During college, I was an English tutor for foreign exchange students. I also volunteered at the local boys and girls club to help kids with their homework. A lot of them are from single parent homes, and it was a rewarding experience. While working, I was contracted to a tutoring agency, similar to this one. I mainly tutored math, science, and ISEE prep. Working for Frog Tutor will give me an opportunity to impact more students to excel.

Approach

Math, like many, is a subject I was never fond of growing up. One of my teacher was able to explain math to me the way my brain works. I was able to grasp the subject so well, I became a tutor in my high school for other students. My approach is understanding how the student learn, and their way to problem solving. I then help and guide them to where they need to go to be successful. Everyone learns differently and at a different rate. My goal is to empower every student to succeed.
