Fun Facts
I love to exercise! Anytime it is sunny outside you can find me playing ultimate frisbee or basketball with my friends. I have always wanted to travel, but have only ever been outside of the country one time when I went to Montego Bay, Jamaica!
About Me
I am a school teacher for Tulsa Public Schools, where I teach 7th grade math and science for Thoreau Demonstration Academy. I recently graduated from Oral Roberts University where I majored in Psychology and Science Education.
Experience
I have tutored on the side throughout my first year of teaching, where I have worked with kids from middle school all the way up through high school. I also consider teaching in itself to be a valuable experience as it has helped me to explain concepts to students one on one.
Approach
I believe that learning is and always can be fun. I do my best to make everything I teach applicable and relevant and I always keep a positive mindset. I do my best to ensure that every student I reach out can leave my tutoring sessions with not only new knowledge first, but also encouraged and uplifted.
