Fun Facts
One thing people realize very quickly about me is that I love languages! I tend to pick up a lot of phrases from many different languages. I lived in Prague and Abu Dhabi for a semester each. Music has been a passion for such a long time and I can play a variety of instruments.
About Me
I am a senior Neuro/Psycho-linguistics student with a minor in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at New York University. I am part of the Scholars program. I am currently applying for the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship for right after I graduate to teach English Abroad. I hope to attend a graduate program to earn a Masters in Speech Pathology.
Experience
I have experience teaching a STEM Curriculum at NYU K12 STEM institute. There, I had the opportunity to teach a cohort of 20 middle school students, advanced material including physics and science/new-york/new-york">computer science. I have tutored friends and classmates at my university in various subjects in order to assist them pass their courses.
Approach
Growing up with a teach as a mother, and with my past experiences teaching and tutoring, I have developed an understanding that students learn differently. I realized that I have to have many ways of explaining a concept in order to attend to each person's needs. With my calm personality, I am determined to provide an efficient, fun, and beneficial environment to enable maximum levels of learning. I will provide students with personalized plans along with skills to help them reach their goals.

Arabic Tutoring
I have just finished my Minor in Arabic. This minor consists of passing Intermediate 2 Arabic. I have taken 4 semesters of Arabic and will continue onto advanced levels.
Calculus I Tutoring
I have received a 5 on AP Calculus BC which has allowed me to bypass both Calculus I and II. I have always had a strong grasp of mathematical courses and concepts.
Elementary Statistics Tutoring
My major requires Stats for Behavioral sciences. I have taken this as well as tutored Stats because I received an A. I am also well versed with the Stats Programs SPSS
