Fun Facts
On top of loving Math, I am also an avid musician. I play drums in a few bands.
About Me
I am a mathematics PhD student at the CUNY Graduate Center. I also teach undergraduate courses at Brooklyn College. My ultimate goal is to complete my PhD and become a Professor of Mathematics at a university.
Experience
I have many undergraduate students who take the classes I teach at Brooklyn College. On top of teaching the class as a whole, I frequently meet with my students one on one to help explain topics they find confusing from class. Before my job at Brooklyn College, I tutored many of my peers throughout my time as an undergraduate at Skidmore College.
Approach
I believe that not only the student, but also the teacher must keep an open mind when teaching. For me this means trying my best to find the way a particular student will learn best and then using that method to teach them.
