Fun Facts

One aspect of my life that is a crucial part of who I am is my passion for art. My passion for art lies within my love of music, photography, and writing. In total, I have learned to play 3 instruments within my life: piano, flute, and the ukulele. Furthermore, although I am not a professional, I do love photography and hope to continue to implement it into my life. Lastly, writing, both creatively and formally, is a crucial part of who I am that I hope to share with others.

About Me

I am currently going into my third year at the University of New Mexico where I am dual majoring in International Studies, as well as English Studies. I have maintained a 3.6 GPA throughout my time here and have recently begun an internship at Sandia National Laboratories as a clerical intern. Once I graduate, I hope to continue my education into law school where I plan to specialize in International Law.

Experience

My teaching and tutoring strengths lie in subjects I am most passionate about; literature, writing, history, and other social sciences. Over the years, I have developed strong writing and study skills that I believe can benefit other student who struggle with such habits. I am prepared to help with the little things and take on the big things. I want to make a difference in other students lives and I believe frog tutoring gives me that opportunity.

Approach

As a tutor, I hope to create a learning environment that will both reinforce structure and simultaneously promote creativity and flexibility. I understand that each student learns differently and I believe that is what sets one-on-one tutoring apart from a proper classroom setting. By tailoring my approach to each student based on their own strengths, weaknesses, and personality, I believe I can make a difference in their study habits, work ethic, and comprehension skills.
