Chemistry I Tutoring

Completed: Chemistry I & Chemistry II
I received a B in both classes

I have tutored three students in Chemistry I and all of them passed with an A in the class. I found through my own mistakes and experiences how to correctly teach others in the subject. I've always been the type of student to know the material but unfortunately not do well in test because of test anxiety. But overtime, I have also figured out how to overcome that. I know the struggles that come with these types of subjects. I know where students tend to get confused and/or lost because of how the subject matter is taught and I have found an approach that helps with that. I think the reason why I find it easy to tutor others in hard subjects is because I've learned through my own mistakes.

Psychology Tutoring

I have taken multiple Psychology Courses because I was both a Chemistry major and a Psychology major. I always got A's in my psychology courses with an exception of two B's.

I was a Learning Assistant when I was in FIU for an intro Psychology course. I essentially had my own group of students that I was accountable for and I would personally help them with any questions they had. I picked up a lot of teaching techniques and my students had the highest percentile in the class. As I stated before, I was a psychology major, which helped me create a solid foundation for the subject as far as learning and teaching.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring

I recently just took a Graduate level Anatomy class in my masters which I received an A in. My major is related to this subject because my major are for those who want to be in the medical field, which directly correlates to learning about the human body.

As I took the course, I saw many students struggle and I helped them through the class too. As a result, I became the person students would go to for help which again allowed me to be able to reinforce the subject matter. It helped me teach the subject as well. I see many ways in which anatomy can be confusing but I have found ways to simplify it to others

I have always been good at math and till this day, I still help others in it too, no matter what subject of math it is. I know how explain complex topics to students and small tips that allows them to memorize formulas and how to take on a question.

I have received A's in all English classes. I can help with grammar and articulation.

Writing Tutoring

I have written many papers and have always gotten A's on the papers I have written as well as papers I've helped others write. I know to convey and expand topics and ideas to allow the student to write a cohesive paper. I also know a great way to structure a paper as well as all formats in which a paper can be written.

Graphic Design Tutoring

I do graphic design on my spare time and have gotten really good at it. I know what color schemes go with each other, the alignments, certain elements that fit with other and how to make your design unique.

Macintosh Tutoring

I own a Mac, and I use it every single day. I have explored all of the technologies it carries and now my way around Mac Book Pro's and Airs.

Microsoft PowerPoint Tutoring

I use Microsoft powerpoint daily and have used it for other jobs as well. I can teach you how to use it and the most efficient way to use Microsoft powerpoint too.

I use Microsoft word daily and have used it for other jobs as well. I can teach you how to use it and the most efficient way to use Microsoft word too.
