I like crafts, but I never seem to have the time to do craft projects like sewing and knitting what I do find that I have time for is doing video shoots. I like to film short vignettes and show them on youtube or show them to friends.

About Me

I am a creative person that loves math and English writing. Since I love video shooting so much, I started a television show called Downbeat TV, which was about the art scene in the DMV area. I would like to some day film a short movie and maybe win an Oscar in the short films category.

Experience

I have been a substitute teacher for seven years, and before I subbed I was a teacher's aid in DC public schools. I started tutoring at C2 Education about ten years ago. After I tutored at C2, I have also tutored with various companies. My specialties are elementary and middle school math as well as English writing for middle and high school age students.

Approach

Since I am a calm person, I take a laid back approach to tutoring. I try to have my students take their time and not rush so that they retain what they are learning. I don't push my students hard, so I find my students are more relaxed and are having fun as they learn. I believe that learning should be fun and enjoyable for the student as well as the for the teacher.
