Fun Facts
I love to travel! I have lived in nine different places and some of my most memorable trips have been to Costa Rica and Haiti.
About Me
I am a senior BioMedical Engineering Major with a minor in Molecular and Cell Biology and Material Science Engineering. I am in a direct medical program at UConn and hope to start medical school next year.
Experience
I have had about 8 years of tutoring experience. I have tutored middle schoolers in math, worked as a online tutor for RSM, and tutored peers in various subjects. I am eager to work with students again because I love teaching and working with children of all ages.
Approach
As a tutor my goal is to develop strategies that will benefit the student beyond our sessions. I try to help student grasp the core concepts so that they can apply it to their current work and future education. I also try to cater my teaching style to the needs of the students because I believe that every person learns differently. For example, with some I apply more practice while with others I use more visual diagrams. Along the way, I also hope to instill an interest in learning.
