When I was in college, I worked for a company where I dressed up as various Disney Princesses for events and parties. I loved dressing up and visiting the Children's Hospital!

About Me

I am a certified elementary teacher with over 5 years of teaching experience. I currently teach first grade at a Public School, teach Kindergarten at a non-profit, and volunteer as for a literacy foundation.I am very passionate about providing high quality education to all children.

Experience

I have been teaching in schools for 5 years. Over the summer, I teach kindergarten for a non-profit. I also volunteer during the year for New Haven Reads and tutor children on the weekend.

Approach

I truly believe learning should be fun and engaging! As a teacher, it is my goal to ensure a lifelong love of learning in every child. I build strong relationships with children and relate the material to each child on a personal level in order to cultivate a deeper understanding of material. I take a data-driven approach to education and always ensure instruction is targeted to directly meet the individual needs of the learner .
