About Me
I received my undergrad degree in Healthcare Science, with a minor in Accounting. I am a currently a Master's student at the University of Texas at Dallas, and I am currently getting my degree in Finance! When I graduate, I hope to take over my families dental corporation in Austin and expand it!
Experience
As a High School student, I was enrolled in Calc BC and Stat AP my senior year. Due to this, I was constantly asked to tutor students in math ranging from Pre-Algebra to Calc AB. Even though this was 4 years ago, I have continued tutoring college students in Calc 1 and Calc 2 at UTD. I also have vast experience with students under the age of 13, as I was a neighborhood tutor/babysitter for a few elementary and middle school families!
Approach
As a child who was part of the ESL community growing up, I always struggled with the subjects of English and History. Due to this, I would constantly be working on Math, as the language there is universal.Through my tutoring history, I've also learned that each student requires a different approach towards how they should be taught a certain subject. Due to this, I will take the necessary time and have the needed patience to ensure my students are taught in a way that they will learn best.

EnrolledAccounting Tutoring
I got my minor in Accounting and constantly found myself tutoring my fellow classmates before our tests. I never received below a 98 in any of my 6 Accounting classes (including Intermediate) and was constantly offered $15-20 to just study with my classmates as they normally got around the same grade as me after. I love the subject and am able to explain it very well, and I will not stop teaching each concept until your student can answer every question with confidence and feels like they can even teach others in their class.
Algebra Tutoring
As a Master's student in Finance, I have to deal with algebra all the time! This, plus the fact that I used to tutor students in pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 in High School makes me a perfect candidate to properly teach my students the basic concepts of all middle school math. I always found that teachers in High School would just provide a powerpoint based off the book and not really explain the concept in a way that the students could understand it. Each student is their own little puzzle, and it takes a great deal of patience before you are able to figure out how to properly relay the information to them, as that is significantly more beneficial then just having your child memorize the information and forget it right after their exam.

This, plus the fact that I used to tutor students in pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 in High School makes me a perfect candidate to properly teach my students the basic concepts in Algebra 2.
Calculus Tutoring
As a Master's student in Finance, I have to deal with calculus all the time! I also took Calc BC in High School and recieved a 5 on the AP exam. This, plus the fact that I used to tutor students in Calculus AB in High School makes me a perfect candidate to properly teach my students the challenging concepts of the curriculum.
Geometry Tutoring
Geometry was one of my favorite classes in High School. I always found great satisfaction when I was able to figure out a problem and I look forward to instilling that same excitement to your student! I always saw each problem as a puzzle that had to get uncovered and that always led me to enjoy doing practice problems! Together, your student and I will together realize how fun Geometry really is!
