Fun Facts
My favorite sports are tennis and snowboarding. I have been playing classical piano since the age of three, and composing since the age of ten. Also, I am a big fan of Ford Mustangs, and I've been rebuilding a 1964 1/2 cream-colored coupe for the past year.
About Me
I grew up in Marin County just north of San Francisco. Following high school, I attended the University of Pennsylvania where I double majored in economics and music theory. After graduating, I worked in the music industry for three years only to realize that I needed a more fulfilling career, so I enrolled in USC’s post-baccalaureate pre-medical program. I am currently in the process of interviewing at medical schools, and I hope to begin in the fall.
I first began in the tutoring field as a volunteer at The House at San Quentin where I assisted elementary students with arithmetic. I continued to tutor in college at Lea Elementary School for two years. I primarily worked with eighth graders on their math and science homework.
As a product of California’s public education system, I spent most of my pre-college years in classrooms of 25-40 students. During those years, it was primarily my tutors who guided me through many of my difficult lessons, as well as showed me how to efficiently manage my workload. I am thrilled to be a part of the Frog Tutoring team where I can help other students as my tutors helped me.
