About Me
I believe the most important aspects of education to be structure, innovation, creativity and positive reinforcement. Above all, however, the most important key to success in academia is, in fact, a positive mental attitude which reflects in one's study habits and attitudes towards the material covered.
My intent is therefore to employ the knowledge that I have gleamed through graduate coursework in history, social science and linguistics, in order to better understand the importance of education and ways in which students can learn maximizing their cognitive abilities.
In general terms, I believe strongly in the following: encouraging the process of structuring of thought and of the creative imagination, the furthering of personal expression and the improving of verbal and analytical abilities. In contrast to traditional pedagogical methods, I believe that fun and creativity must be combined with more orthodox visions of learning in order for the student to observe the utility of the material covered and the ways in which he or she can apply what he learns on a daily basis.
