I love playing tennis and playing with my cat and dog. I have a twin sister. I love watching cartoons and old T.V. shows like Bewitched and I Love Lucy. Someday, I want to visit all the states in America.
About Me
I am attending Southern Methodist University, Pony Up! I have an Associates of Science already. I am planning on graduating with a bachelors degree in Biochemistry. I hope to be accepted to medical school in the next few years and become a dermatologist or pathologist with my own practice.
Experience
I have two years of classroom experience as an intern at Foster Village and Holiday Heights elementary schools. I have been a Biology laboratory assistant for a year and a half. I loved talking to fellow students about their research experiments and answering their questions along with getting to know their goals. I love being approachable and being asked for help for even the smallest things. I also have research course experience in Hawaii.
Approach
I was born in a different country and learned Vietnamese as my first language. I learned American customs and English all through out my educational career. I grew up in a ethnically diverse part of town and school. I loved learning science with everybody and it was always something I thought that everyone loved to learn or gain interesting facts from. I hope to bring this joy to every student that struggles or wants to excel in STEM subjects.
