Fun Facts

I love to bake. Cookies, cupcakes, challah; you name it, I will bake it (though I can't guarantee that you'll like it). My current project is perfecting the chocolate chip cookie, which is far more complex and challenging than one might expect. Someday, I would like to take classes as a pastry chef. Until then, the chocolate chip cookie will have to suffice!

About Me

While I was born in washington/seattle">Seattle, I grew up in La Jolla, California, a small beach town in San Diego. I am currently enrolled at Brown University, where I have been studying American literature while completing my pre-medical studies. After college, I plan on attending medical school. This year, I have returned to washington/seattle">Seattle as a visiting student at the washington">University of Washington.

Though I have worked on a private basis as a providence">tutor for students of varying levels of study, my primary experience providence">tutoring recently has been through volunteer work. At Brown, I worked as a Literacy Fellow at a local public high school, teaching reading-comprehension/rhode-island/providence">reading comprehension and writing skills. I also worked as a providence">tutor in Brown SAT Prep, a program designed for juniors at the same high school.

As a providence">tutor, I strongly believe in tailoring sessions to the strengths and interests of the individual student. It is my job to help my tutees achieve what they have identified as their academic goals to the best of my ability. No two students are a like, so no two providence">tutoring sessions should be alike!
