Fun Facts

I am an avid traveller. And yes, I am sure a lot of people would say this, but I am 22 and have visited around 50 countries. I have volunteered in over 10 and have lived in 4. I am intrigued by every new culture and every different language. I hope to see the entirety of the world and immerse myself in every custom.

About Me

I am currently studying at the University of Arizona pursuing four different degrees: Photography, Journalism, Italian, and Psychology. I completed the International Baccalaureate back home in London before moving to Arizona. I am fluent in both French and English because my father's family is both.

Experience

I have tutored from the young age of 14. I have always been relied on to relay information and understanding to both fellow classmates and younger peers. I am more than willing to help and teach anyone anything. I have spent one month in Laos and 2 weeks in Costa Rica teaching English to both children and adults English as their second language. This has provided me with a well-rounded knowledge of what it means to teach, be prepared for every lesson and listen to the needs of the pupils.

Approach

I love it when the lightbulb goes off. When a person understands the concept after grappling with it for so long. I love it. The look on their face and the smile that emerges. I have had so many of those moments thanks to great teachers and dedicated tutors. I strive to be that for someone else. I aim to be the person that provides the student with the material necessary for them to reach that "eureka" moment. The moment in which they feel accomplished and rightfully so.
