Fun Facts

I am the third oldest of 8 total brothers and sisters, ages ranging from 5-25 years old. One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love to sing and write music. You might catch a singing post on my social media sites! I also love playing soccer when I'm not working or studying. Oh, and I can't dance for the life of me.

About Me

I hold a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Western University of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the University of California, Merced. I am in the process of dental school applications, aspiring to improve access to healthcare. I also own a startup company, and we are building an advanced cargo inspection system for government defense agencies.

Experience

I have experience tutoring a college level chemistry course where I developed and implemented comprehensive lesson plans while offering support and integrating questions to consolidate concepts. I also have experience as a Teacher Assistant for a college level summer pre-health program. I conducted practical support and teaching to reinforce lesson plans presented by professor, including lab based activities.

Approach

I believe that academic success is not about how smart you are, but rather how hard you are willing to work. After completing an intensive Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Western University of Health Sciences, I have built a strong background in the sciences and understand what it takes to become successful in this field. I want to help students become strong independent learners with critical thinking skills that they can take with them outside of the classroom.
