I love rap, hiphop, and R&B music. I also love to dance, and am interested in learning all sorts of style including bboying, krump, and popping & locking. To tie it all up, I am fascinated by street art like graffiti, and I hope to one day incorporate all three of my loves to produce my own art, whether it be music, graffiti, or dance.

About Me

I was born in Forest Hills, Queens, then my family moved to Chicago, IL when I was 4, and then finally settled in Boston, MA. I graduated from Wellesley High School in June 2011. I came to New York to attend New York University and am currently pursuing a major in economics. Prior to manhattan">tutoring, I've worked as a volunteer basketball coach for kids with special needs. In each practice before the game session, I would have the opportunity to work with two kids individually with basic skills like dribbling and shooting. This experience allowed my teaching abilities to develop in a unique way where I had to challenge myself to break down the steps of the game for each individual to understand. As a manhattan">tutor, it is my goal to assess every individual kid's learning style to figure out the best method to help them understand what is they need help with. I will guide each child step by step until he or she masters each part . For me, it is most important for each kid to understand not just each step, but ultimately the general concepts.
