About Me
I am currently a rising senior studying at the maryland">University of Maryland, maryland/college-park">College Park. My major is in Criminology/Criminal Justice, and I have a double-minor in Spanish Language and Cultures and Global Terrorism, run through the prestigious organization, START (National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism). I currently have a 3.987 GPA, that I have worked very hard to maintain! I also just completed a semester abroad in Seville, Spain where I completed my conversion to Spanish fluency! It was a wonderful experience that I enjoyed immensely, but it's great to be back in the US! I currently have an internship with the ATF in washington-dc">Washington DC., and will have a new internship this fall semester doing research with START (the organization that runs my terrorism minor). I was also accepted to be a Teaching Assistant this fall, so while I will be a part-time student, I anticipate being very busy with school, teaching, and being a hard-working maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor!
While I have never been part of a formal maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring service, I have always tried to help people wherever I go. I was a Girl Scout for many years, and the daughter of a Scout Leader, so both leading and helping my peers and those younger than me comes naturally to me. I have also had lots of experience as a babysitter for numerous families, which gave me experience with not only watching young children but helping them with their homework and study habits. In Spain I was also part of a program that involved working with Spanish-speaking students to help them improve their English. I was also a Teaching Assistant for one of my criminal justice classes in college and was responsible for helping over 60 students with learning the class material. From all these experiences I have discovered that I enjoy maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring/teaching very much and would love the opportunity to do so with your child or children through Frog maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">Tutoring!
