Fun Facts
During my free time, you would most likely find me swimming, running, spending time with friends, or snuggled up with a book. I am currently learning French on my own, and so far I am better at listening than speaking. I enjoy learning about different cultures, ancient Greek History, and exploring different cuisines.
About Me
I recently graduated with a bachelor's in Chemistry from Georgia State University, and my goal is to obtain an MD/Ph.D. degree because of my love for scientific research.
Experience
During my sophomore year of college, I volunteered with an organization called Jumpstart, where I taught preschool kids with a group of other students. I also taught Biochemistry I& II, Organic Chemistry I & II, Anatomy & Physiology, Molecular Cell Biology, Algebra, Precalculus to college Students with the TRIO Student Support Services program.
Approach
As a student, I understand what it's like to find certain classes difficult. During those times, I was fortunate to have professors, teaching assistants, and friends to encourage and help me excel in more ways than I had taught. As a tutor, I would use different approaches to teach depending on the student's learning style. I also work to understand the reasons a student might find a subject challenging.
