About Me

I have a B.A. in Accounting and Financial Management from Hiram College. I graduated with Cum Laude and received the Accounting Departmental Honors. I am currently taking fraud related classes at franklin">franklin-university">franklin">Franklin University in order to be able to sit for the CPA exam. I also got accepted to Ohio State University’s Master of Accountancy which I am planning to pursue later in the future. I work for the State of Ohio’s Tax Department as a Tax Commissioner Agent 3 in the Fraud Division.

Throughout college, during the summer months I volunteered to help children of all ages with their homework at a daycare for underprivileged children. I enjoy helping and teaching others and as a result I became a columbus">tutor in college as well. I tutored students in Accounting and Mathematics. I have a total of four years experience in columbus">tutoring. As a columbus">tutor for Frog columbus">Tutoring, I am looking forward to shape the minds of students of all ages, be a role model and a mentor as well.

I lived in Romania until the end of high school and sometimes I felt demoralized by the teaching style. I came to Ohio for college and the professors here were very encouraging and positive and their attitude helped me learn easier and excel. I believe that any student can be a great student with positive encouragement and some hard work. I encourage my students to ask a lot of questions and I can help them develop valuable skills that will make them succeed in the future. I do not only teach them the content but I also help them stay one step ahead and be prepared in class at all times.
