Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that I love trying new coffee shops. I love following coffee shops on social media and then visiting them to try any their popular drinks. My favorite are the ones with cute boho, or vintage styles. I enjoy having a cup of coffee while talking to a friend or simply working on my laptop alone. While I am there why not snap a photo to add to my memories.

About Me

I am a School Counselor currently in my second year working at a middle school. I enjoy working with students of any age group and my goal is always to help them gain skills that will lead them to become successful individuals.

Experience

I have worked in education since 2014 through summer camps, after school programs, tutoring, substitute teaching and now as a school Counselor. I have worked with students of different ages & grade levels in various capacities. I currently work for Visalia Unified School District as a school counselor. I support students academically and socially emotionally.

Approach

Being a second language learner it was hard for me to learn in any subject, therefore I often had to put extra effort to perform well academically. After school program tutors and summer tutors helped me get to where I needed to be by taking the time to teach me one on one what I was missing in the classroom. For this my intention is to provide students the extra support they need to reach their full potential through tutoring.
