Fun Facts

I lived abroad in Spain for a year teaching English at a bilingual high school. Now that I am in Austin, I go to Spanish language meetups. When I am not there, I am running outside as I love to run half marathons!

About Me

I work as a Bilingual Data Specialist and am always looking for more ways to help others with their Spanish language skills.

Experience

When I studied at Trinity University, I tutored many students in Spanish. Besides this experience, I tutored many students in Spain in English. I have multiple years of experience tutoring English and Spanish.

Approach

In middle school, I always had problems with Math. I had a private tutor who helped me tremendously and was attentive and encouraged me. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes.
