I'm from Colorado, and I'm always looking for hiking recommendations up here! You can find me out exploring the city, reading, or studying for my classes at one of my favorite coffee shops.

About Me

I am a junior Mechanical Engineering major and Math minor at Seattle University. I absolutely love my classes, and my GPA is currently at a 3.6. I hope to design prosthetics and other mobility devices in the future.

Experience

I tutored younger kids around my neighborhood growing up with basic mathematical concepts, but I always wished I was teaching the more involved topics that I have a passion for. My advisor at Seattle University suggested this job to me, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to revisit some of my favorite high school and middle school courses.

Approach

I believe understanding is the basis of learning-not memorization- and has better results in the long term. As a tutor, I would like to preview the material and hear a bit about your learning style prior to our session. My strategy is to delve into the basics of more confusing concepts, work through example problems that build from each topic to the next, and find studying methods that work for you.
