Fun Facts

I'm a mom! I have two children who began to read before the age of 2. They are both in school now, so I can focus on teaching other people.
Teaching is my passion. Just because I have been raising my children for the last 4 years does not mean that I have lost any skills. In fact, my multi-tasking game is on point! I like to camp, garden, and generally be outdoors. I'm known as a strong worker who can quickly learn to do anything I put my mind to.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is flexible. My next endeavor will be to either learn Chinese or Russian. I have studied German and Latin as well.

Experience

I have successfully completed a Spanish/English Medical Interpreter course from UCCS. I recently earned my ACTFL Certification in reading Spanish. I translated employment tax documents for Virginia Linen Service, and interpreted their meetings and daily conversations between managers and employees. I also tutored for my High School.

Approach

Spanish is not just on paper, being able to speak and understand spoken is an important aspect in order to pass AP and other tests. My springs">tutoring style focuses on easy memorization of grammar, use of derivatives to better understand vocabulary, and correct pronunciation.
