I am an avid reader, and I love cats. Currently, I live with three, Magoo, Vinnie, and Tommy. Also, I love to travel, with one of my favorite destinations being India.

About Me

I have a BA in Psychology and Political Science from Albright College in Reading PA. During my 4 years there, I made the Dean's List a few times (their cutoff was 3.75 instead of the usual 3.5). I am currently a freelance writer and photographer in the NYC area.

Experience

-Tutored fellow college students in psychology
-Worked as Assistant Editor-in-Chief for college paper
-Was a Senior Student Technician for Albright's IT Services
-Volunteered at shelter while in India
-Spent 3 years working at mental health institution, within the recreation department

Approach

Calm, patient. I like to work through a problem with a student. And I spend time explaining through a topic so that the student has a better overall understanding of it. Moreover, additional related information will often be provided. I found as a kid that it was always more rewarding being able to discover the answer, rather than being told it outright. Through these sessions, my goal would be for the individual to attain more knowledge and self-confidence.
