Fun Facts

I am a HUGE nerd for science fiction and fantasy! I'll watch or read anything with monsters and magic. My favorite pastimes are reading, cooking, and playing board games. I live in New York City now, but I actually grew up in an incredibly small town in Maine. A personal goal of mine is to learn American Sign Language.

About Me

I'm an alum of New York University and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. I studied theatre and math in school, which I'll admit is an odd combination. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and a passion for teaching. My goal is to return to NYU for a masters in vocology, with the hope of becoming a full-time speech coach and tutor in the future.

Experience

I've worked as a tutor and teacher for almost ten years. I started just after college, working with students preparing for the SAT. After a few years, I began work at Fusion Academy as a high school math and physics teacher. I've taught an incredible range of students, and I'm excited to work with even more through Frog Tutoring!

Approach

In high school, I always loved math, but I always struggled with math classes, mostly because of the teachers. My goal as a tutor is to bring personality, passion, and clarity to mathematics! I believe that, with patience and compassion, any can learn to appreciate (or at least master) this tricky subject.
