I love SCUBA Diving, although I began learning it only last semester I instantly fell in love with it. The ocean is a whole other world with so many things left undiscovered. I love seeing all the amazing creatures in their natural habitats. I love to travel, I have been out of the country once after 7th grade I went to Europe for 21 days with the People to People organization. It was amazing

About Me

I was born and raised in Plant City, Florida. It is a small town outside of Tampa where I live on a farm with my parents and my younger sister. My mom runs her own horse boarding and lesson business, but I have never been interested in it. My heart belongs to Marine Biology, which I major in at Barry University. I am a freshman and I have a 3.5 GPA. I completed the International Baccalaureate program at Strawberry Crest High School and received my IB Diploma. If I put my mind to something I do my best to achieve my goal.

I have always worked my hardest to do well in school. I rarely received a C in any of the classes I have taken and never anything below that. I retain information really well. I have always done my best to help my younger sister in all her classes. She always tells me that after I help her she does better on tests and in the classes, I try to help her understand the material better. Recently I have been miami">tutoring her in Chemistry because she has trouble with the subject, and she is doing much better in the class since I have begun helping her. In high school I decided to volunteer at an elementary school to help miami">tutor the students in any of the subjects they needed help in, I found that it was really satisfying to help the children to prosper in their classes.

I approach miami">tutoring on a personal level. I do my best to build a relationship with the students I miami">tutor and make myself available to them whenever they need me. I do my best to be patient and calm with them and put myself in their situation so I can try and understand what they do not understand about the subjects, I feel that if the students have a more personal relationship with the miami">tutor, or the person teaching them, they are able to understand the material better because they are more receptive to what the person is telling them.
