Fun Facts
In January, I helped release newly hatched turtles into the ocean. It was an amazing and beautiful experience I will remember forever!
About Me
I am from a large, loving family of 4 daughters. Currently, I am working towards a master's degree in civil engineering from Columbia University. I obtained my bachelor's degree from The University at Buffalo in civil engineering. My goal is to be a structural engineer in NYC and to promote STEM fields.
Experience
I have tutored for numerous families and students. During high school, I tutored and provided homework help for 4 children ranging from middle school to high school. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I worked as a tutor with student organizations assisting in topics ranging from calculus to chemistry to biology to engineering courses and more. I love helping others reach their full academic potential and instilling valuable study habits to help for years to come!
Approach
My approach varies per student. It is important to discuss what helps the student learn best and understand their goals. I am a very visual learner, thus I understand how to work with visual students. On the other hand, I have worked with various learning requirements and recognize the importance of adapting to fit all needs. Additionally, I like to focus on building a strong foundation on "how to study" as this is essential for academic success.
