Fun Facts

I am very passionate about reading and writing and while my main focus academically is in the sciences, my hobbies are more art based. I write on my free time or read when I have the chance, if I'm not doing either I'll be trying to improve my art skills since I am also very found of painting and drawing.

About Me

I am a sophomore Chemistry major at Florida International University. I've been on the dean's list for the past two years and my post-graduate aspirations are to join the University of Florida Pharmacy school and earn my doctor of pharmacy degree.

Experience

Throughout high school, I tutored classmates and underclassmen in reading and writing as I was part of the AICE program and as part of it I had an advanced curriculum that enabled me to pass on my skills and knowledge in those subject areas. I was also a part of the school band and FBLA club where I became a veteran member which helped me become more comfortable with working and helping others in different areas such as music and business.

Approach

Early on in my academic career is struggled with applying myself in school. I would procrastinate or simply not complete tasks assigned to me. It wasn't until I discovered my passion for writing and English that I began to enjoy school and since then I've pushed myself to excel in not only English and reading but all other subjects.
