I recently adopted a Pitbull mix from the shelter and he's teaching me a lot about everything! Little did I know that while I was training him, he was also training me!!

About Me

I'm a college student currently studying to become a Nurse Practitioner. I have lots of love for animals and being a part of changing lives. I learned that even though I aspire to be a good influence on my students and play a role of being an older sister, in return they're actually also teaching me too! After I got the offer to work at a doctor's clinic, I wasn't ready to leave the kids yet. Which is why I continue to tutor on the side while juggling school and another job.

Experience

My very first job was coaching gymnastics. I actually never learned gymnastics prior, but I put in a lot of effort to make the class fun while educating myself and my little athletes about the sport. Not long, I fell in love with coaching athletes and the sport itself. Gymnastics was the last sport I wanted to learn, but I did it to educate myself to understand the sport better. I then moved on to tutoring at a center and got an offer at a doctor's clinic! I've been tutoring for 2 years now!

Approach

I myself was and still am not the perfect student. I also had my struggles in school during my childhood and had a tutor myself. As I grew older and began to tutor kids, I realized I wanted to be the person I wish I had when I was a kid. Learning concepts for the first time is tough, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to master. It just takes time, patience and consistency.
