Fun Facts

I used to swim competitively in middle school and high school; therefore, I understand how to balance both academic and athletic commitments. I've also traveled extensively throughout Asia and visited New Zealand. I love pets and adore cats in particular. When I used to live in San Francisco, I rescued Minna, a Himalayan kitten.

About Me

I recently completed my pre-medical post-bacc program at USC and am currently applying to medical school. Before starting the post-bacc program, my science background was very limited, which made me feel a little intimidated. As I started to study science, I learn that science doesn't necessarily have to be difficult if one approaches it from the right angle and with a good attitude. My goal as your tutor is to make math and science as fun, simple and enjoyable as possible, even for classes like organic chemistry!

At the college level, I am comfortable tutoring any of the pre-med biology and general chemistry courses as well as first semester organic chemistry. For high school students, I can tutor AP Chemistry, AP Biology and any non-AP math or statistic courses. For middle school and elementary school students, I am comfortable tutoring any of the math and science courses.

I am very flexible in my tutoring approach, as I understand every student learns differently. I'm also friendly, patient and will do my best to make math and science as fun, simple and enjoyable as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions!
