I enjoy reading, writing, and doing anything creative including painting and baking. I spend my weekends either reading a new book or baking some goodies to enjoy while reading!
About Me
I am a 6th-grade math teacher at a Charter School in NYC, as such, I am very animated and I enjoy bursting into random moments of singing whenever possible. I attended SUNY Oswego for Chemistry and I am currently completing my Master's in education/new-jersey/new-jersey">Special Education. I have been tutoring since 2012 and I really enjoy working with anyone who is interested in learning something new no matter the topic.

Approach
Growing up I moved from the Dominican Republic to the United States at a young age. As such, I struggled with the language and had to work extra hard to learn the language and stay on top of the content. With that being said, I had to learn eventually that it takes a lot of different strategies to learn and practice different content. I utilize different learning tools from manipulatives to other online tools!

I attended a high school in New York which specialized in Mathematics and Science. I took pre-algebra and got an B in the class.

I majored in Chemistry during college, I was required to take many different courses in the sciences from Biology to Physics to Chemistry. I also attended a high school specialized in Science and Math and this class was a requirement for me to graduate on time. I got an A in this class.
AP Chemistry Tutoring
