I love to bake and do crafty home decor in my free time. I am the oldest of three siblings. I have lived all over the world and absolutely love to travel. I also love running and recently completed my first full marathon at WDW this past January.
About Me
I am currently a 4th year medical student at Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University. I have been married to my college sweetheart since our senior year of college and this past year we welcomed our first baby girl into the world. I have a passion for helping students be successful and although I have the most experience in the sciences I am equipped to help in lots of subject areas. My tutoring style is to help you feel empowered through specific session goals and to serve as an encouraging presence while providing guidance throughout the session. I see us as a team and I want you to be as successful as possible!
Experience
I have been a tutor for a variety of ages spanning from elementary reading all the way up to a college Organic Chemistry tutor. Most recently I have been a college prep mentor at a local high school in Waco and have been a kindergarten reading buddy. I am extremely dedicated to helping a student achieve their goals and am eager to continue working with students.
Approach
I have been fortunate enough through my education that I educators that have been enthusiastic about my learning and have encouraged me even when I was struggling. As a tutor, I strive to be a positive impact that can help lift up students as they are experiencing roadblocks. I desire to help my students be not only successful in the task they are work on today but to also be equipped to handle all of their future academic pursuits.

Study Skills Tutoring
I graduated from Baylor University with a 3.7 GPA in the Honors program and have now successfully completed all of the requirements for graduation from Medical school this May. Additionally I hav taken numerous standardized exams all of which I had to create uniques study plans and use different skills in order to be successful. I would love to be able to partner with you to find a study method and organization that works for you so that you can reach all of your goals!
AP Statistics Tutoring
I took AP statistics in high school and received a 5 on the AP exam. I have a degree in biology and public health from Baylor University and have continued to use statistics topics in my research projects throughout undergrad and medical school.

I have a degree in Biology and Public Health from Baylor University and am now a 4th year medical student at TCU where I will graduate with my MD in May. I have successfully completed numerous sciences courses throughout all of my studies. Additionally I have been tutoring science topics since I was in high school myself and served as a peer tutor throughout undergrad and medical school
MCAT Tutoring
As a recently Matched 4th year medical student I am very aware of all of the tasks necessary in order to be successful on the standardized exams specifically the MCAT. I personally scored a 511 on my first attempt and successfully gained entry to medical school on my first application cycle. I create personalized study plans for each of my clients in order to make sure you cover all necessary material prior to test day!
