Some fun facts about me? Well, I love to have fun. I spend my spare time listening to music. Anything I have to do, music has to be involved. When I'm cleaning or cooking, you can catch me dancing at the same time. I feel like music brings out my energy more and makes me do things more efficiently. But of course, when it comes to studying music has to be off.
About Me
I am a junior Medical Technology major at St. Francis College. I am a sincere volunteer at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Room. When I achieve my Bachelor of Science Degree and my certification for Medical Technology, I hope to attend Adelphi University to earn my Masters in Physician Assistant. My ultimate goal, it to become a Certified Medical Technologist and Pediatric Physician Assistant.
Being an older sister to a ten-year old, I have the privilege to queens">tutor my sibling in subjects that he needs help in. These subjects included mostly Math and English. I also had the opportunity to work with New York Cares and volunteer with the Arab-American Association. I was able to work with kids whose age ranged from six to fourteen years old. Because of this opportunity, I came to know that I enjoyed helping small children. Working and being apart of Frog queens">Tutoring will give me the chance to assist students and impact their lives with great knowledge.
Growing up, when I had trouble in school work, my parents would always help me achieve the answer rather than just give it to me. With my queens">tutoring approach, I plan to help the children find the right answer with a positive attitude. It is my responsibility to guide them towards the right solution by asking different questions. Not only will I teach them the material, but I will show them and give them different incites on study skills that will help them be successful in class and future classes as well.
