I am interested in music ranging from country to EDM, I enjoy dancing every and any type of music. Particularly, I love to dance Bachata and Salsa. I am also a very outdoorsy girl, sports all the way; I AM the son my dad never had :)

About Me

I am majoring in Biology and should be receiving my B.S. soon, currently I am in school trying to fulfill pre-reqs for my Masters. I enjoy interning and volunteering in the Emergency Rooms of hospitals and also tutoring unfortunate children. One day you will find me as a famous heart surgeon! :)

I have been a tutor for many years now, voluntarily and paid; currently working with LAUSD. I have worked with students ranging from Kinder-College; I am very amicable and get along great with students to where they are comfortable to ask me questions, even after they graduate. I feel I have a grasp on how to explain concepts in many ways for students to understand, and I am very good at discovering the type of learner students are; and work from there.

I first get to know my tutee and form a bond with them; expressing how I am there to help them with their academics and to build their confidence in school. Explaining how confident I am in them, and throughout the tutoring process as they are able to solve problems will build up their confidence and believe in themselves. I also allow the tutee to teach me something they know how to do depending on the subject, to see how they teach to get an idea on how they learn.
