I’m interested in cooking, both Chinese and French cuisine. When I was in France, I studied French cuisine with one famous chef in the city of Brest. It was memorable experiences. Additionally, I like swing and jogging.

About Me

I’m Chinese student enrolled in San Jose State University French MA program. This is my first semester in SJSU but I have studied three years Objet Design in France, in European Art School of Brittany, which is famous in France. Three internships in French company in Paris and Toulouse gave me additional chance to practice French. So I have high proficiency in French.

I have been teaching Chinese in confucius institute in Brest (France) for one academic year and after I came back to China, I was a French teacher in a private school for four months that taught me how to adapt my teaching style to suit the student’s respective cultural background, social requirements and specific needs.

I encourage my students use as much French as possible in the classroom,by making sure the students have all the necessary vocabulary (sentences) to handle all types of classroom situations for requests and questions. I ask for help with students, and find inspiration with their feedback. I will try to set up French club which offer students to practice.If my students don't see any point in learning French, I compiled a list of famous non-native French speakers around the world - if my students know how many cool people speak French, they might realize how cool French really is! I give quiz frequently to incite student to review regularly.
