I am passionate about languages and the world in general! I also play piano and spend most of my time figure skating or learning new languages.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from UT Arlington with a Bachelor's of Arts in Critical Languages and International Studies - German, and a double minor in Linguistics and Translation.

Experience

I was employed at UT Arlington as a peer tutor for beginner to upper-level German classes. I also have been speaking conversational Spanish for a few years and took a formal year of Spanish classes at UT Arlington. All in all, I have been speaking German for 7 years.

Approach

Our current education system typically doesn't put much emphasis on learning languages but I feel it's something that's extremely important. Being able to communicate to a whole new group of people opens up new doors and opportunities. As a tutor, I love having an encouraging and upbeat attitude and approach towards language learners. My goal is to get learners comfortable to a speak even a little bit and then focus on grammar and syntax afterwards, as that has been my most successful approach.
