I love competitive gaming. Since High School I've made appearances at the top of the ladder in World of Warcraft and Hearthstone. I enjoy League of Legends too but I'm not that great. I'm a Full-Stack Developer specializing in J2EE. With a Bachelor's in science/new-jersey/new-jersey">Computer Science from NJIT, I hope I can help others achieve their academic and professional goals. I plan on tutoring part-time as I work on becoming employed in the industry again.
Experience
I have about a year of industry experience as a Software Engineer for CommerceHub in Albany, NY. Throughout my education and training I've held several tutoring positions, from a peer tutor on campus to an online tutor for Varsity Tutors, most of my clients can agree that I have helped them achieve their goals.
Approach
I believe the Socratic method is the most effective, but try to adjust my approach depending on the situation. Programming in the realm of academia is far detached from it's functional counterpart, so I try to focus on setting a strong foundation so the transition from a student to professional programmer can go as smoothly as possible.

I didn't score particularly high on the PSATs. but I feel that the content level makes it very easy for me to explain thoroughly.
