About Me

I am currently a freshman attending Howard University studying mechanical engineering. After I graduate college, I am very adamant about running my own business that involves unique ways to satisfy everyday needs with engineering. I've been awarded for graduating in the top %08 of my class. I have received the Legacy Scholarship from Howard University. I am a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the National Society of Black Engineers. I've been the head of a numerous amount of community projects.

When in high school, as a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, I tutored my peers in organized dallas">tutoring sessions that usually contained a minimum of 3 individuals. The subjects included calculus, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, writing skills and theater arts. I have also taken on dallas">tutoring assignments at the local middle and elementary schools aiding younger children in basic mathematics, theater arts and writing.

I like start off with an exchange of introductions. After the awkward vibes are lifted, I proceed to ask them about the subject area they're having trouble in. I then give my personal experience with the subject as to make the student comfortable because I know that youth who are struggling do not like being approached too formally and harshly. My approach is revolved solely around personal experience and common sense. I know how it feels to attempt to learn and fail. So, I want the student to feel how I would like to feel when being tutored a difficult subject.
