I love books and movies – especially superhero movies! – and anything science fiction. I also grew up in France, even though I’m American. Since I had to learn a foreign language as a young adult so I understand the struggles and embarrassment that come with speaking a second language!

About Me

Would you like to reduce your accent in English? Would you like to speak English more smoothly? Let me help you be more clearly understood! I tutor individuals in speaking, accent reduction, conversation, and pronunciation. I have many satisfied students from countries as diverse as Brazil, China, Mexico, and Russia.

Experience

I have a bachelor’s degree from Boston University where I graduated cum laude (with honors) and a 120-hour TESOL Certificate in English as a Second Language. I also worked as a Tour Director for over 15 years leading & teaching student groups all over Europe, the US, and Canada which is where I developed my love of teaching.

Approach

I also have the experience of having learned another language as a teenager so I understand the many difficulties and frustrations. Because of that I make sure the students have a fun, patient, and relaxed learning experience. I want my students to look forward to class!
