Fun Facts

I have a huge passion for making and listening to music - whether it's playing piano and singing or jamming out with friends at a weekend karaoke session, I always have a good time. I also love staying physically active by running, swimming, and kickboxing. I'm the middle child with two brothers and am originally from the Chicago suburbs.

About Me

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with two degrees - one in finance and healthcare policy from the Wharton School of Business and one in biology from the College of Arts and Sciences. After that, I worked in healthcare investment banking for nearly 2 years in New York City. I will soon be working in healthcare venture capital. I have experience working in finance, building startups, and in government (the Department of Treasury).

Experience

I have tutored and mentored students throughout high school and college, on various subjects, including ACT, SAT, English, math, chemistry, and reading and taught piano. I've worked with students from 5 years old through college level and have served as a mentor and peer adviser at Wharton. I love paying it forward based on my own experiences and knowledge. I'm looking forward to continuing to teach and mentor through Frog Tutoring!

Approach

The teachers that were most impactful for me growing up were the ones that took an individualized approach when teaching. I hope to do the same - when I teach, I'd like to listen first and understand the student's unique learning style and approach, and my empathy and ability to personalize my lessons helps me to adapt to every student's unique needs. I'm a very positive, energetic person and will channel this into positive encouragement and reinforcement throughout my lessons.
