About Me
I am a Mechanical Engineering student whose dream is to build a revolutionary, eco-friendly car.
I plan to attend the University of California or MIT to pursue a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
My favorite subjects are Math and Physics (because Physics is Math and common sense) I am a friendly, outgoing person who loves to laugh. When I commit to something I always give it my best.
I have always loved to teach, both my parents were teachers, and at age 17 I began teaching at a high school.
I taught Remedial Math, Physics and Biology for two years. This experience emphasized the importance that educators play in the educational and emotional development of students. Although, I left teaching to become an Engineer I will always have a passion for helping students.I currently volunteer as a Math and Robotics washington-dc">tutor at the Cultural Academy For Excellence in Maryland.
I believe that everyone has the capacity to learn anything and the burden is on the teacher or washington-dc">tutor to facilitate this.
Patience and a willingness to try different approaches are invaluable resources to successful washington-dc">tutoring. Also, when a washington-dc">tutor can generate passion for the subject in a student, they become more receptive, this is then reflected in improved grades. I also believe that youth is an advantage because I am not rigid in my washington-dc">tutoring approach and can apply my experience as a student to help other students succeed.
