My passions outside the classroom include hiking, cooking, and classic literature. I love sharing great food, great books, and great landscapes with close friends and family!

I'm the youngest of three brothers, and my relatives live around Chicago. I went to the University of Iowa because of its famous writing program!

About Me

I graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor's degree in English and a certification in Media Entrepreneurship.

Since graduating, I've shared my writing abilities with an NYC ad agency, a nonprofit, and several startups. I also provide online lessons in English as a Second Language to learners all across Asia!

Experience

While in high school, I was honored as an AP Scholar with Distinction and began tutoring as a member of the National Honor Society.

Since then, I've continued to teach as an online instructor to hundreds of students across Asia who are trying to learn English. However, there are so many other subjects I could share knowledge about, so that's why I joined Frog Tutoring!

Approach

My favorite teachers growing up were always the ones that allowed students the chance to be equal members of the learning experience. That meant encouraging participation so that students can be engaged with what they learn and also being humble enough to admit when they didn't know an answer.

Those values are integral to my classroom. All my students are given the chance to speak as much as I speak during class, to share their connections with the subject, and ask difficult questions.
