I think learning something new is the most exciting thing a person can do. I enjoy fixing and restoring cars and motorcycles (always so many learning opportunities there), and to read. I love animals, I have two dogs and a cat, and I used to train dogs.

About Me

I am a mechanical engineering student at SJSU currently in the last semester of my senior year and i have a 3.55 GPA. I plan on pursuing a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. My goal is become a mechanical design engineer and help to make new and exciting products that help to make the world a better place.

Experience

I love to teach almost as much as I love to learn. I have always informally tutored my peers throughout my school career. I have worked both as a personal trainer and as a gymnastics coach, and so I have a background in working with people to help them achieve their best and also in explaining complex topics in an understandable way.

Approach

The key to learning is to break up big ideas into manageable chunks and to maintain context between ideas. There is nothing worse than trying to learn in a vacuum, without any helpful clues. I try to help build patience and curiosity in my students, so that they continue to learn on their own and have the fortitude to work through difficult subjects.
