One thing you should know about me is I love fashion. I have always been so intrigued by the fashion industry since I was a child, and I am so glad to have figured out a way to combine my passion for fashion with my love for Mathematics by working on the business development team of fashion company.

About Me

I am a recent college graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT. I majored in Mathematics and minored in Models and Data. I currently work for a fashion company in Manhattan, and ultimately hope to go to business school. I love working with children and am hoping to continue to do so now that I have moved to New York City

Experience

When I was in high school, I was able to tutor middle school and high school students in mathematics through the national honor society. All throughout college, I tutored middle school students in mathematics, science, history, English, and Spanish. I was also a peer tutor for all of the mathematics classes offered at my college. I have also been a Teaching Assistant for Calculus I,II,III, and Statistics. I have always loved tutoring and am excited to continue spreading knowledge!

Approach

Math has always come very easy to me, but I learned from tutoring that this is not the case for everyone. I have learned that encouragement and persistence is the most successful way to tutor, along with teaching study skills. I try my best to make sure that the students that I am working with are having fun with the material that they are learning, because I believe that is the best way to learn!
