My hobbies include singing, dancing, and telling jokes. I am a people person who enjoys helping others. When I am not working as a tutor, I also work with seniors in their homes providing healthcare and companionship.

About Me

I have a Bachelor's Degree in English from maryland">University of Maryland Eastern Shore. I have also completed most of my coursework there towards a Masters Degree in Applied science/maryland/baltimore">Computer Science.

Experience

I have tutored at many places including; Americorp America Counts Program, my church's after school tutoring program, UMES Writing Center, and as the Graduate Assistant to the Athletic Department Study Hall.

Approach

Everyone can learn. It just takes a little more time and patience.and the right approach to reach them personally There are left-brained and right-brained learners. Some students who think thy are poor in math are actually just right-brained learners. I usually can give them some simple examples from a right-brained approach, and it makes things suddenly much clearer to them. People learn best when you take something complex and break it down into simple bite-sized, easily "digestable" steps
