About Me
I'm a graduate student at The New School. I'm currently writing a novel. As an undergraduate at maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">columbia-university">maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia University, I majored in Creative Writing. My senior year I won the Karen Osney Brownstein Graduation Prize awarded to the maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">columbia-college">maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia College student who has composed a work of prose fiction "so distinguished in its originality of concept and excellence of execution that it fairly demands the award, support and recognition that the prize intends".
In high school, I was president of the Classics Society and head Latin tutor. I met one on one with several students each week to review grammatical concepts and assist with translation exercises. At maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia, I volunteered at the writing center and helped students make their papers clearer and more concise.
Every every person's learning process is unique. As a tutor, I tailor my approach to each student by attempting to place myself in the student's shoes in order to best understand a student's unique disposition. I think it's extremely important to set academic goals. I aim to help students surpass their academic goals by assisting them with the material and instilling confidence.
