I am an animal lover! I have a dog, three cats, and a fish. I love spending time with my dog outdoors, so on weekends you'll probably find us at the dog park throwing a ball or hiking through one of the many Central Valley trails.

I recently graduated from Sacramento State with a BA in Mathematics. I am currently studying to become a math teacher.

Experience

Throughout school I tutored students and adults in various math topics such as pre-algebra, algebra 1 & 2, pre-calculus. I love working with people and seeing the 'aha!' moment.

Approach

Ever since I was a child, I always knew I wanted to be involved in education, particularly math. Math didn't always come easy--when I was younger I struggled with math until I found a great teacher who showed me what qualities an effective educator needs.
