One biggest fun fact about me is that I love cooking. I learned how to cook from my mom (basically by just watching) but eventually it becomes my hobby. I cook different types of food and am interested in learning new recipes. It was so funny to cook with friends and spend the time while we have delicious things to eat. Besides cooking, I also like playing badminton, reading and swimming

About Me

I am a recent graduate from washington-university">George washington-university">Washington University. I double majored in Economics and Statistics with a minor in Math. Currently I am working as a business analyst and planning to gain my Master degree in Business Management.

I have been a washington-dc">tutor for about a year in a VA based washington-dc">tutoring company after my graduation. The main subjects I tutored are Math, Statistics, Economics and Physics. I also voluntarily tutored students who are interested in Chinese while I was in school. I was eager to washington-dc">tutor students and to work for Frog washington-dc">Tutoring to help more people.

My aim as a washington-dc">tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves. My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the students’ personal barriers to learning in a way that lays the foundations for a deep and lasting understanding of the subject.
