Fun Facts
My passion in life hasn't been to learn, but to learn to learn. The world changes in funny and peculiar ways. There are times when one must relearn it. I grew up in the military and was fortunate to travel all over the world. I finally settled in the southwest.
About Me
I'm a natural born artist and have a desire to make the world around me a beautiful place. I have accomplished this in many ways including web design, running my own business and just being an artist and mother. I went to a local university to learn science/new-york/bronx">computer science and gained my certificate for over a dozen computer languages. Learning is as important to me as teaching, therefore I am usually enrolled in a class, either virtually or in a class setting.
Experience
I love art and technology and am always taking a class either online or at the one of the local universities. In my classes I have always had a study buddy and we would learn and teach one another. From there I had family. I taught my children where to find answers and how to comprehend better what they needed. I am happy to be part of the Frog Tutoring family as it helps me impact out ever changing world and those who need help with it.
Approach
As a child with dyslexia I found it hard to concentrate and retain much of my work. Through my network of teachers, tutors, family and friends I found study habits that worked for me and made me a better student. It inspired me to become a tutor and have a hands on approach to how people learn. This helpful, especially in technology and the evolution of art one goes through.
